CONGRATULATIONS TO Mr. Kurt Ottesen
on his nomination and induction into the

2009 Prince George SPORTS HALL OF FAME!

Mr. O will be formally inducted into the Hall of Fame at a banquet on Saturday the 10th of April, 2010.

Mr. Ottesen is being recognized for his over 22 years practicing and teaching ITF TaeKwon-Do, for competitive achievements, as a member and captain of Team Canada, as well as for his contributions in teaching, coaching and officiating at the International Level.

We are sorry to announce that Grand Master Tran Trieu Quan was in the Hotel Colorado, in Port Au Prince, Haiti when the earthquake struck and the hotel collapsed. Although news and reports are coming in, there are currently no accurate reports or updates about GM Tran, except we know for sure he has not yet been found.

If anyone has the skills and the abilities to pull through this, it is definitely Grandmaster Tran. In the words of his beloved wife: "He is a survivor." We too have hope and faith! At the end of the day GM Tran is first and foremost a husband, father and grand father so our thoughts are with his family at this time. Our best wishes, thoughts and prayers go out to our friends, the Tran Family. Pelase know that you are in our hearts, and take strength in our love, support, and courage for GM Tran.
